Family Trip

Location: Laureles

3 families (14 people) worked on Nancy’s home. Hung a 200 lbs door, finished framing, wired outlets, lights and switches, hung insulation, installed bathroom door, installed roofing, and applied stucco to exterior.

Youth Summer Camp

Location: Laureles and La Jolla

LDS Priest Quorum from Sandy Utah (22 people) worked on the Disabled Children’s Center and Nancy’s house and Zapata’s house. Poured cement pad, framed house, sheathed house, wrapped house in preparation for stucco, painted, grouted tile at Disabled Children’s Center.

Family Trip

Location: Canon Rosales and La Jolla

7 families (40 people) Built a home for the Alercon/Sanches family. Plaster, painted the kitchen and with beautiful murals, painted all interior, stucco and painted exterior, installed roofing. Dug and built a latrine for Maria (The old woman who used to live in her car).

Youth Summer Camp

Location: La Jolla

LDS Priest Quorum from Alpine, Utah (38 people) built 2 homes and roofed another. New home for Maria (The old woman who used to live in her car). New home behind existing shack for ??? in La Jolla. New roof for existing home.

Family Trip

Location: Cuesta Blanca, Canon Rosales, Mirador

6 families (34 people) worked to pour a cement pad for a new home in Cuesta Blanca, finished work on the Garcia home, roofed house across from Garcia’s, roofed house in Mirador, electrical and painting on pink house with flowers.

Youth Summer Camp

Location: Laureles, Lazaro Cardenas, Las Flores

3 LDS Priest Quorums from Sandy, Cedar Hills, and Provo Utah (57 people) worked on 4 projects. Roof for Sandra, New house to replace burnt house, banio for single mother of 7 kids “M7”, painted “M64” house.

Family Trip

Location: Vista Encantada

4 Families (15 people) Finished first story and framed the second story on ??? house.

Family Trip

Location: La Gloria, Laureles

Worked on the disabled childrens center and the house with a bridge. Poured cement, built cinder block retaining walls, repaired the bridge and added handrails, painted exterior, painted interior.
